Inspiration

We realised that generic AI responses lack real-world depth and perspective. We wanted to empower users to instantly access nuanced, role-specific insights as if they were talking directly to an expert in that field.

What it does

In the Shoes Of lets you explore, create, and use expert personas to transform your AI interactions. Whether you need a senior data scientist, management consultant, or high school teacher, you can instantly “step into their shoes” to get authentic, tailored responses.

How we built it

We used Bolt as the core framework to build a responsive persona management platform, integrating dynamic persona data models with a seamless UI for browsing, creating, and deploying personas in AI interactions.

Challenges we ran into

Designing personas that feel authentic yet generalisable across diverse contexts was challenging. Balancing specificity with broad usability required iterative testing and refinement.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Created a robust library of personas covering 10+ industries
• Built an intuitive creation flow for custom personas
• Enabled users to experience more insightful and practical AI outputs within minutes of onboarding

What we learned

We learned that people crave context-rich AI responses grounded in real expertise. Persona-driven AI interaction is a powerful way to reduce hallucinations and enhance trust in generative outputs.
