What inspired you
This short film was inspired by the idea of a literal descent into Hell—not as a punishment, but as a journey through a distorted version of our own world. I imagined a society where demons dress in suits and chain their slaves with bureaucracy and fear. It became a dark satire about power, vanity, and the masks we wear.
What I learned
I learned how to blend symbolism with cinematic AI tools, how to control tone with visual rhythm, and how to create tension through silence and framing. This project taught me that even in AI-driven filmmaking, direction and authorship matter.
How I built it
Visuals were generated with AI (Leonardo.ai, Kling.ai), using custom prompts and scene-by-scene consistency control.
Animation and camera motion were defined manually to enhance immersion.
Editing and sound design were completed in DaVinci Resolve.
The music was composed specifically for this piece to evoke dread and fascination.
The short was designed as a continuous descent, using symbolic imagery in every frame.
Challenges I faced
Maintaining stylistic cohesion across tools was technically demanding. Working under GPU limitations forced creative compromises. Balancing satire and horror without losing narrative clarity was another key challenge.
