Inspiration

The Semi-Automated Business Research Environment (SABRE), developed over 50 years ago by IBM and U.S. airlines, revolutionized commercial aviation by aggregating flight data for electronic booking—laying the groundwork for today’s online reservation systems. In contrast, the private aviation sector still lacks a SABRE-like platform to unify flight information across global operators, leaving empty legs and luxury inventory fragmented and underutilized. SkyLuxe will solve this problem.

What it does

SkyLuxe aggregates flight data from private jet operators, focusing on empty leg routes available to consumers at premium rates—offering the luxury of private aviation without the full charter cost.

How we built it

We have built the system using Salesforce Cloud, with operational dashboards enabled by Tableau Next. We are in the process of building the consumer-facing front end using Experience Cloud.

Challenges we ran into

Our team is familiar with Salesforce Cloud and Tableau; We are in the process of building the B2B and B2C facing sides using Experience Cloud. We are also interested to work with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development experts with experience in the private aviation sector.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Identification of the need to aggregate this type of data. Currently, uncountable number of private flights fly empty; SkyLuxe can help these operators to recuperate the cost of empty legs.

What we learned

Sales and Marketing aspects will require equal emphasis.

What's next for SkyLuxe

Composable Storefront to launch our MVP.
