Inspiration

In these unprecedented times where apathy is becoming more common by each day, almost everyone has dreams of improving themselves in certain areas but most fail right at the beginning due to insufficient morale. Which aspired us to create an software that would encourage people to begin forging their dreams

What it does

Our app is designed to exist as an extension and pop up, as if a friend wrote you a message, to give you AI generated speeches that aim to encourage you to begin pioneering a new you

How we built it

We started with the brainstorming phase, after getting our inspiration splitted into 2 divisions, one was dedicated to the UI design and the other to programming, after going through libraries to learn about javascript and how to use the API, we put together all our work to produce the final prototype.

Challenges we ran into

Being a team that was assembled quickly as recent beginners, we struggled especially when we tried to fetch speeches straight from the LLM API, so we resorted to the undesirable solution of selecting a speech from previously AI generated ones.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were quite behind on time due to unfortunate reasons, but even so we are quite happy that we managed to manifacture something intriguing in the limited time we had for our first hackathon

What we learned

We learned a lot about API's and how to manipulate them alongside a lot of new javascript information, as well as how to make UI that would please the eye

What's next for Impush

This software could use so much more polishing. The first upgrade to do of course would be to get speeches right from the LLM API, after that we could add features such as customizing the AI's personality to fit the users desire in addition to being able to give it a name and even an avatar. Overall this software could go much further given more time and effort.
