• Past experience in creating visual novels

What it does

  • A visual novel which lets the user control the actions of the main protagonist. They decide the protagonist's actions based off dialogue scenes. Ultimately, each action has a consequence on the protagonists future in highschool.

How we built it

  • We using the launcher Ren'Py to create the virtual novel. To collaborate, we used visual studio code.
  • We created a story for our novel with dialogue

Challenges we ran into

  • Focus: our members are not all together, so it was easy to get distracted
  • Time management: With only 24 hours, we were having issues figuring out how much time to allocate to each task.

  • How to run visual studio code to collaborate with other members on one document

  • Improvements to this current application with more developed dialogue and action.
