Inspiration
In an ideal care home,
- there would be a healthy person-carer ratio.
- The business is sufficiently funded (or profit making).
- There are mature processes and protocols of care.
- The carers are motivated and compassionate.
- The inmates are happy and safe. (Mental, physical and health needs are taken care).
- Facilities are regularly audited for quality and there are initiatives for ongoing improvement
People housed in care homes are at high risk from a pandemic due to stretched business budgets and lack of sufficient care personnel. World-wide there has been a high number of fatalities in care homes
What it does
This project aims to improve quality of care by attempting to address constraints of existing care mechanisms through a digital transformation approach to
- care home administration (now)
- domiciliary care (next)
The solution comprises a DIGITAL platform that simplifies pathways for carers and administration Central tech approach is usage of bots to simplify the care pathway
How I built it
