Inspiration

In an ideal care home,

  • there would be a healthy person-carer ratio.
  • The business is sufficiently funded (or profit making).
  • There are mature processes and protocols of care.
  • The carers are motivated and compassionate.
  • The inmates are happy and safe. (Mental, physical and health needs are taken care).
  • Facilities are regularly audited for quality and there are initiatives for ongoing improvement

People housed in care homes are at high risk from a pandemic due to stretched business budgets and lack of sufficient care personnel. World-wide there has been a high number of fatalities in care homes

What it does

This project aims to improve quality of care by attempting to address constraints of existing care mechanisms through a digital transformation approach to

  • care home administration (now)
  • domiciliary care (next)

The solution comprises a DIGITAL platform that simplifies pathways for carers and administration Central tech approach is usage of bots to simplify the care pathway

How I built it

Adapting an existing bot platform (prisme.ai) to automate carer and adminstrative workflows
