Payments using Rapyd payment API

Inspiration

We want to build this project in order to improve E-commerce experience since it Its use has increased dramatically due to the pandemic, and make the users do their shopping online with the easiest way to do the purchase through Rapyd platform.

What it does

Till this moment the users are able to show different products and make orders through the E-commerce and show their orders and receipts and cancel their orders at anytime.

How we built it

We used Figma to setup our design and we developed the front-end with Flutter framework, and we built the database use MySql RDBMS, The node.js act between the front-end and the database as a back-end and we developed all of the APIs using it (Login, registration, retrieve information about the profile or the product, etc) , also one of them was Rapyd payment API.

Challenges we ran into

1- Huge number of APIs 2- The size of the E-commerce APP. 3- Lack of the products data and also cold start

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our project has Microsoft company as a sponsor and they provide as the financial support that we need all services that we need such as Azure cloud to deploy our APIs through it.

What we learned

How to develop different APIs using node.js and also how to test them using postman and how to deploy them, also how to have a good design to make users fully satisfied, and how to make them do their purchases in an easy way.

What's next for SAMZAR

To make users try the products using Augmented reality technology while the users will be able to open the camera and see if this piece of cloths looks great on them, or this piece of furniture will be beautiful if they put it in the living room.

Build a deep learning model that has ability to convert the 2d image of the product to the 3d object to Augment it to the real world.
