This groundbreaking platform empowers its members through voting rights, providing a fair and democratic approach to funding projects within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. By leveraging the power of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and artificial intelligence, this platform aims to revolutionize the way investments are made and projects are funded.
What it does
The Foundation: A DAO for Fair Voting and Funding At the core of this exchange is a DAO model, ensuring that every member has an equal say in the decision-making process. Each member's voting power is determined by the amount they contribute to the fund, eliminating the possibility of any single member holding enough votes to overpower the collective. This democratic approach ensures that decisions are made in the best interest of the community as a whole.
The Voting Mechanism: Funding the Most Promising Projects To promote innovation and foster growth within the cryptocurrency space, the platform operates on a voting-based funding system. Projects seeking financial support from the exchange present their proposals to the community, and members cast their votes based on the merit and potential of each project. The projects that secure the highest number of votes receive funding from the exchange. This mechanism ensures that investments are directed towards projects with the most community support, increasing the likelihood of successful ventures.
How we built it
It was built with Flask, Python and Bitcoinlib.
Challenges we ran into
I did manage to create a Contracts System with Solidity, but it could not be hosted on Heroku, where my app is deployed.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I've built out some functionality in the app, for one, I can create accounts and assign wallets. I was also able to vote on the platform.
What we learned
Bitcoin is a huge and revolutionary ecosystem, that can change the world and decentralize power.
What's next for Imperium
It feels good as a product, I might spend some more time working on it.
