Tired of bias articles with no accountability

What it does

Determines where articles fall on political spectrum

How I built it

The program begins by webscraping an article based on it url then it will parse the scraping and convert it to a .txt file. From the txt file we run it through our algorithm to determine where it falls on political spectrum.

Challenges I ran into

We coded the project in java and python and it was extremely tough to integrate the two languages

Delivering on final product

What I learned

It’s very tough to run python scripts on with JavaScript interpreter.

What's next for ImPARTial

Turning into chrome extension then possibly cluster machine learning
