ImpactPath is a platform designed to change how students approach learning and demonstrate their skills. Instead of treating education as a collection of completed courses, certificates, and grades, ImpactPath starts with a different question: What problem do you want to help solve?

The idea came from noticing a gap between what students learn and what they are able to demonstrate. A student can complete dozens of courses and earn certificates, yet still struggle to show how those skills have been applied to a meaningful problem. ImpactPath guides students from a real-world issue to a concrete project: users choose an area they care about, identify a problem, build something in response, and create an impact portfolio documenting what they actually accomplished.

The platform currently focuses on challenges connected to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including Zero Hunger, Good Health, Quality Education, Clean Water, Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities, Climate Action, and Life on Land. By connecting learning directly to real-world problems, ImpactPath encourages students to develop skills through application rather than passive completion.

This aligns most directly with SDG 4: Quality Education, particularly the goal of making education more meaningful, relevant, and focused on developing practical skills. It also connects to SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, because students who may not have access to prestigious programs or formal credentials can instead demonstrate their abilities through the problems they engage with and the things they build.
