How we built it
We built a customizable web app using Vercel for rapid, scalable deployment. We used a dynamic QR scanner and a flexible scoring engine to personalize insights based on user profiles.
Challenges we ran into
Balancing clarity and usability in the scan results UI was a challenge. We also needed to thoughtfully structure the product metadata to support diverse ESG, health, and community factors.

We built a working prototype that translates complex product data into simple, actionable insights—bridging sustainability, health, and community values into one intuitive experience.
What we learned
We deepened our understanding of how product transparency tools can shape consumer behavior and how to structure data pipelines that serve highly personalized user experiences.
What's next for Impact Ecosystem
We plan to expand our scoring logic, integrate public ESG/nutrition databases, add more granular community impact metrics, and test the app with conscious consumer groups and retail partners.
