Inspiration

I ended up just turning what I had into what made the most sense for my capabilities. I honestly started out with no idea where I would take this and ended up working towards an understanding of languages I will definitely use in the future.

What it does

It allows users to track and visually see their carbon footprint through a table and a pi chart, which provide a built-up collection of data that has the goal of swaying the user's ideas to cutting back on carbon emissions.

How we built it

I have learned Tailwind and TypeScript over the past couple of days, and I enjoyed creating my first UI with TypeScript as well as learning the styles of Tailwind

Challenges we ran into

The Tailwind Styles were very difficult to remember, and I had a hard time mapping out the different parts of my UI. Also, I implemented a sign-in page with a sign-out aspect on the sidebar, which took me a very long time, and I ended up needing to implement a local data transfer system inside of my files and folders.

That I have something to present coming into this not knowing any of TypeScript or Tailwind

I do plan on continuing to work on it by creating a better, less errored UI that is more effective and easier to implement
