Inspiration

I was inspired to create an app that promotes public health as it is one of the cornerstones of building a thriving community.

What it does

Updates health feed from the City's newsroom every hour to be as up-to-date as possible.

How we built it

React js, Redis Database, Material-UI, Cron

Challenges we ran into

Had issues with deployment! I wasn't able to get it displayed on my domain: immuniti.me Additionally, would love to work on better functionality but this was my first foray in Full-Stack.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of how far I've come along, and how comfortable I can be with web development.

What we learned

Reading documentation, debugging, and following tutorials will always be a part of the day-to-day.

What's next for Immuniti

Deployment on a domain pointing to the Virtual Private Server. More resources available and better build-out of functionality.
