Inspiration

Immigration paperwork is confusing, expensive, and stressful. People often do not know which documents they need, what a form means, or what to do after receiving a notice from an immigration office.

We are building ImmigrantOS to make immigration guidance more accessible worldwide.

What it does

ImmigrantOS is an AI immigration assistant that helps users upload documents, ask questions in any language, and get clear next steps.

The product will use Gemini to:

analyze immigration documents and forms
explain requirements in plain language
identify missing fields or possible risks
answer questions in the user's language
generate practical checklists and next actions

How we built it

We started from a React/Vite prototype with dashboard, document, billing, admin, and legal pages. We are turning it into a real product with Gemini API, secure document processing, Supabase, Vercel serverless functions, and Stripe.

Challenges

The main challenge is safety. Immigration documents contain sensitive personal data, and AI answers can be mistaken for legal advice. We are designing ImmigrantOS with privacy, clear disclaimers, data minimization, and official-source verification from the beginning.

What's next

Next we are adding a real Gemini-powered chat, secure document upload, Gemini Vision document analysis, user accounts, usage limits, payments, analytics, and real user testing.
