Inspiration

Our inspiration stems from a deep-seated desire to make a meaningful impact within our community. We recognize the talent and skills that reside within individuals who are eager to contribute positively to society. Through this portal, we aim to connect individuals to their recommended oppurtunites in order to harness their skill sets.

What it does

Imin! is a volunteer portal that uses openAI to connect users to their recommended jobs based off of their answers on the questionnaire.

How we built it

We used a php/laravel backend with a vue/js and tailwind styling.

Challenges we ran into

OpenAi cutting us off from making requests. Lots of difficulties getting the environment set up. Trying out new tech and realizing we just didn't have enough experience to pursue it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Proud of finally actually getting the development environment to a place where we could go in and build our goal product. Excited to have a beautiful mockup that encapsulates our goals with our product. Proud of not giving up when nonstop warnings/errors appeared and instead finding a way to overcome them.

What we learned

We learned patience. To listen to each other and learn as much as we can.

What's next for ImIn!

Continuing to find ways to help our community. Perhaps making it so that people who might need help can post requests as well.
