Inspiration

My collaborators need a tool to keep track of the changes that happen in a patient and can be detected in medical images.

What it does

It illustrates the changes between 2 images in 2 timepoints of the same subject with color code.

How we built it

Using the software (c3d) that has been developed under my advisor's (Dr. Paul Yushkevich) supervision and Python.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge is getting the FDA approval and integrating this system with the system that is now being used, such as PACS.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Developing a demo that can detect changes and make a report based on that.

What we learned

Crafting a financial model and doing market research. Pivoting when it is necessary.
