Inspiration

Image V2 is built for creators, marketers, designers, ecommerce teams, and content teams that need practical AI image workflows without jumping between single-purpose tools.

What it does

Image V2 helps users create and refine visual assets for text-to-image prompts, image editing, reference-led iteration, product visuals, social media content, posters, ads, and design drafts.

How it works

At a high level, Image V2 treats generation as an asynchronous workflow. A user submits a request, the app tracks a generation task, background processing sends the job to a supported provider, and the finished asset is returned through a simple user-facing experience.

The goal is not to claim ownership of any third-party model. Image V2 brings supported image workflows into one product surface so users can choose the generation mode that fits their task.

Built with

The project uses a TypeScript web application and a serverless backend on Cloudflare. The public product experience hides provider-specific details behind a shared task lifecycle.

Challenges

AI image generation is not always a simple request-response call. Some jobs finish quickly, while others require queued work, status tracking, result retrieval, and stable asset handling. The main challenge was making that backend complexity feel predictable and simple for users.

What we learned

A good AI product needs more than model access. It needs clear states, reliable asset handling, and a product interface that keeps users focused on creative output rather than infrastructure details.
