Inspiration
It is the first step to a bill splitting app. Want to change images to pdf so that words on the file can be processed and used to help people split checks.
What it does
Takes a photo and then stores that photo as a pdf in a file named test on your phone. Works on android only at the moment.
How I built it
Using Android Studio to build it.
Challenges I ran into
Getting permissions from the phone itself. It will not run unless permission is granted.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Finding location to send pdf
What I learned
Literally everything on this project
What's next for Image to PDF converter
Grab text from it (specifically receipts), do math, and then split bills. Will probably try to access Venmo.
