I made this project in the hopes of producing an AI that could be useful in the real world. The original goal of the project was to make the AI able to access the user's download folder and anytime the user would download an image, the AI would name the image something useful for them. This would make it easier to find the image again later, and people could save time from not having to think up of a useful description of what the image was. While making this project, I followed along with a tutorial from this website: link. While working through the instructions, I learned how both RNNs and CNNs can be combined to make a more useful neural net. I also learned how to process data for these specific types of projects. Although I wasn't able to finish my project successfully, I am happy with what I have accomplished in the 12 hours of the hackathon and will continue to work on this project after the hackathon is finished.
