Inspiration
After taking ECE 311, Bill Yang has always wanted to create an applet that would allow him to showcase his Signal Processing skills, so wrote the processing algorithms, and is gratefully aided by frontend/interface programmers Yibai Wang and Qiran Pang to display the solutions gracefully.
What it does
Take Images from users, and returns a processed version for the user to download, the processing method is of the user's choice and customization.
How we built it
Python NumPy, SciPy, and PIL Library for image processing, Flask and Jinja Template for backend and front-back connection, and Bootstrap for front-end showcase.
Challenges we ran into
Bugs++ Also, the intricacies of web development and compatibility would always surprise us.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
None of us are CS, with 2 CE and 1 EE student, writing code for this application is not exactly what we do every day. It does make the process more fun!
