As a manager, I’ve always been committed to elevating my team’s knowledge and skill set, ensuring they stay on top of the latest trends in our field. However, finding an accessible, on-demand tool to make this happen seamlessly was a challenge—until now.
What it does
Keep your team current with tailored learning materials and quizzes generated by AI. Just input a topic, customize as needed, and launch learning campaigns in a few clicks. Track progress with in-depth reporting to ensure everyone stays ahead.
How We Built It
We leveraged Atlassian’s Forge platform to ensure seamless integration with Confluence and efficient hosting for our app. The only external service we utilized was an AI model's API integration.

We worked to develop prompts that guide the AI in generating accurate, well-structured subject matter content and relevant questions with minimal inaccuracies.Integrating Notifications

We’re thrilled to have built a scalable solution that integrates AI to serve a potentially large user base. Additionally, we’re proud of the simple, intuitive user interface we created to ensure a seamless experience.
What we learned
We gained valuable insights into crafting effective prompts to optimize AI responses, explored the range of APIs Confluence offers, and deepened our understanding of Confluence’s notification features—learning how to leverage them efficiently for our app’s user alert needs.
What's next for Illumina
We’re planning to enhance Illumina by allowing test generation directly from content within Confluence pages. Additionally, we aim to introduce a survey generation feature to further expand our platform’s capabilities.
