What is ikav.net?

ikav is an AI-generated SEO-friendly article generator service built on Web3. You can generate SEO-friendly articles, FAQ content, meta descriptions, marketing texts, keywords, and more. In other words, ikav provides everything that a Webmaster needs. It's the first AI article generator built on Web3.

If you search anything on any search engine, it's impossible to not see an AI-generated article. Website and company owners avoid the costs of hiring a writer using AI. There are hundreds of content generation services, however, in order to use them you'll need to share your personal information. It is unfair to be forced to share your data only to create content on open-source LLM models. That's where ikav emerges. All you need to do to start using ikav is connect your Metamask wallet on Theta mainnet.

Features

  • Built-in WordPress support: You can connect your WordPress website with an "application password". That allows you to post your articles from ikav.net. You can specify the category and article status (draft, future, public, etc.) before publishing.
  • Bulk generation: Imagine you have tens of thousands of titles and keywords. If you want to generate articles, you can use bulk generation. It is enhanced with parallelism and allows you to generate multiple articles at once. It is way faster than generating one by one.
  • Free Image API: Your articles should have thumbnails and images to optimize their SEO. By enabling this option before you create an article, you can have images for thumbnails and in the middle of articles. This option is available for bulk generation too!
  • Keyword tool: Allows you to generate article keywords that you can later use for generating articles. If you want to have hundreds of articles about blockchain, use this tool to have hundreds of keywords. Then you can use them for article generation.

How We Built It

ikav.net was a prototype at first. In 2022 we thought of this idea as a side hustle but never really built it. "Theta Network Hackathon 2024" encouraged us to build this idea in approximately in 2 months.

Tech Stack

We used React, Redux, and Sass for the frontend. For the backend, we used various technologies:

  • Express.js: API Route
  • Socket.io: Communication while content generation
  • MongoDB Atlas: Database management system

Challenges We Ran Into

To find the perfect prompt for each content template, we had to put a lot of effort and funding. These optimized prompts are the reason why every content on ikav.net is almost perfect. And for the same reason, the Github repository of ikav.net will be private unless Theta juries want to have a look at the code.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of

  • We have implemented concurrency for multiple article generation at once.
  • Fully on-chain credit deposit system.
  • Discovering a prompt for SEO-friendly articles that makes an overall score of articles in RankMath WordPress extension over 80.

Feedbacks

We worked with 7 people who own & work at a content generation startup/project. We've created an Excel file to review their feedback in the future. We can separate these feedbacks & criticisms into 2 categories:

  • Web3 part: Users demand to have more networks. Some said they assumed they'd pay with ETH but then had to buy some TFUEL after seeing the only asset to deposit was TFUEL. And they definitely want more wallet support.
  • AI part: Users love the generated articles, they say even for very detailed and specific keywords, articles are looking fine.

What's Next for ikav.net

We have great plans for the future of ikav.net.

Technical updates

We'll add Stable Diffusion support for AI-generated thumbnails. We also had a trademark update but couldn't deliver it on time so we had to take it off for now. With trademarks, article thumbnails, and images were going to have logos of the websites they're published at.

The next major update is a native token. We're planning on a utility token for ikav and expanding our service from AI content generation to an Autoblog SaaS on Web3. Our pivot is always AI, so it'll attract so many crypto and AI enthusiasts. Since it has real-world usage, a native token is likely to succeed in the crypto market too.

Marketing updates

We already started our market research to promote our project. With the hype it'll gain after the deployment of ikav's utility token, it'll gain more and more attraction.
