Inspiration

When I always lose to buy stock in Indonesia because I don't know the technical and fundamental analysis, but using this screener will help you find stocks to make you profit on stocks.

What it does

It is to screen the stock based on a popular indicator in stocks and help you find stocks with probability of winning.

How we built it

First make the UI, then connect to the API to get stock data, then improve so can be searched and also show details of the stock, and then refine the UI again.

Challenges we ran into

I tried several free API providers, but sometimes it does not work, sometimes the limit is too low, and then I used the Yahoo Finance API. Also, I got an error from Yahoo when the stock code is not available, and it takes several tries to fix.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I suggest a change in several services to fix the API problem from Yahoo when the stock code is not available, and it helps the AI to fix the problem.

What we learned

AI can help to build a fast application, but for bugs or errors, it still needs a human to fix it because AI does not know where to find the place to fix.

What's next for IHSG Screener

Using a paid API to get all data from stocks in the IHSG so I can screen more accurately. And for the custom screener, it will be available for paid users.
