Inspiration

We realized most people want to build something but don’t know where to start, and most founders struggle to clearly define the problem they’re solving. So we built a tool that turns any frustration — big or small, into a structured startup direction instantly.

What it does

You enter a problem you're facing, and the app generates a refined problem statement, a startup idea, key features, a business model, validation steps, and even a fun roast. It gives new founders ideas and helps existing founders get clarity fast.

How we built it

We used Lovable to rapidly build a responsive web app with guided inputs, a backend AI prompt system, and structured output parsing. Everything was done in under four hours , from UI to deployment.

Challenges we ran into

Parsing structured AI output cleanly, handling missing sections, and debugging backend prompts under tight time pressure. Getting the UI to update in real time without placeholders also took iteration.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a fully working AI co-founder in hours, refined the UX, added guided questions, implemented roast mode, and deployed a viral-ready founder tool that actually provides real value.

What we learned

Problem-first thinking leads to better ideas, and small frustrations often hide real opportunities. We also learned how to rapidly prototype, debug AI prompts, and iterate fast under pressure.

What's next for IHaveAProblemBuildMeAStartup

More advanced founder packs, premium idea breakdowns, shareable idea cards, founder analytics, and eventually a full “problem → MVP” workflow. Our goal is to become the fastest way for anyone to go from pain point to product instantly.
