Inspiration
Despite the Internet being the biggest ever distribution platform, creators in the music and media industry do not earn their due revenues by distributing their content over the Internet. Instead, they end up giving up their content for free or for advertisement revenues on the big platforms such as youtube, tiktok, facebook and instagram.
What it does
We are addressing the challenges of tokenizing real-world assets such as music, video etc., and monetizing the content for creators, through the use of blockchain and smart contracts.
How we built it
We have developed a Dapp which uses TRON Blockchain to mint and play audio/video music NFTs as part of this Hackathon. This is available at https://video-marketplace-tron.netlify.app/ and can be tested by the users if they have signed-in in their TRON testnet wallet. It is possible to “Play” the available NFTs by paying a small fee.

We have minted fairly large files; however, we need to research the maximum file size and get around any limitations.
What we learned
We have proven our capabilities on TRON.
What's next for VideoTRON
We plan to take up this platform to real-life customers. Artists should be able to tokenize music into NFTs and play/trade it on our platform.
