Inspiration

Every new semester, students have to ask for notes and books from the seniors. There is no such site where they can find all the study material in one place. Introducing, IGDTUWstudy.

What it does

IGDTUWstudy is a very useful website especially for the students of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women(IGDTUW). This website comprises of all the study material required by the students for their college curriculum. From the class notes, previous year question papers to lab materials, it includes all.

How I built it

I participated in 7 days of web development from Progate recently. This was my first hands-on webpage making. I used the knowledge of HTML and CSS learned from the program to build this website.

Challenges I ran into

It was easy for me to learn the various keywords and attributes of HTML and CSS, but for a webpage to look impressive, it should have proper spacing, padding and colour combinations. That was a challenge for me, which I tried overcoming to a good extend and will work on improving it further.

Accomplishments that I am proud of

I am elated that with just 7 days into web development, I can make web pages and websites. And participating in this Hackathon with a simple yet necessary project is itself an accomplishment.

What's next for IGDTUWstudy

IGDTUWstudy is in development mode. I will be working on making it more impressive and user-friendly. Also, along with providing course materials, it can be used as a common platform where students can interact with the seniors for doubts and guidance.
