Inspiration
The inspiration for this IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapy Modality project came from the growing recognition of the power and effectiveness of this approach in facilitating personal growth, emotional healing, and the integration of the diverse aspects of the self. The IFS model's ability to help individuals understand and work collaboratively with their internal "parts" has shown remarkable results in addressing a wide range of psychological and behavioral challenges.
What it does
This IFS Therapy Modality project aims to provide a comprehensive and user-friendly platform for individuals to explore and engage with the different sub-personalities or "parts" within their psyche. Through interactive exercises, guided visualizations, and educational resources, users can learn to identify and interact with their Firefighter, Exile, and Manager parts, fostering self-compassion, emotional regulation, and a more cohesive sense of self.
How we built it
Involves various components from using Mistral API for different parts responses according to the context. Next/React for frontend, D-ID for realtime video streaming with lipsync, Replicate API for parts image generation
Challenges we ran into
One of the key challenges we faced was translating the nuanced and complex concepts of IFS Therapy into a digital format that maintains the depth and integrity of the approach. Ensuring that the user experience is both educational and therapeutic required careful consideration of how to present the information, facilitate self-reflection, and provide a safe and supportive environment for users to explore their inner world.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have created a comprehensive and user-friendly platform that brings the transformative power of IFS Therapy to a wider audience. By combining cutting-edge technology with evidence-based psychological principles, we have developed a tool that can empower individuals to deepen their self-understanding, resolve longstanding issues, and cultivate a more harmonious and integrated sense of self.
What we learned
