Inspiration

The problem of price exploitation, food spoilage and communications in the agricultural world, there is less investment in the agricultural sector. It is important we solve this problem in order to reduce the rate of exploitation of farmers, producers and consumers. And reduce the rate of food spoilage in Africa. And bridge the gap of digitalization between the rural and urban world; since most of the persons in this category are people in the rural areas

** Agricultural Marketing**

Agricultural marketing still continues to be in a bad shape in nigeria. In the absence of sound marketing facilities, the farmers have to depend upon local traders and middlemen for the disposal of their farm produce which is sold at throw-away price.

What it does

We are creating a website( for start) i.e an Agricultural E commerce site where people can buy and sell farm produce and agricultural stuffs at affordable prices. A website that can also help farmers get their produce to the market as quick as possible. A site that helps farmers lease mechanize equipment for farm work at standard prices. A site that assist in the prevention of exploitation of consumers by producers and vise versa; price ceiling and price floor, farm Store vision is to connect the world with agriculture.

Imagine a Nigeria where every individual Connects with agriculture

buying fresh veggies and eating fresh foods rather than junk foods with chemicals.

-where investors, business men and women would invest more on the agriculture sector

where all the sellers will not only sell there products locally but get online and sell on our platform for free.

I feel the major challenge we faced was the fact that we had 4 days to build.

Farm Store also creates a platform where people who are into agricultural businesses can sell there products, without paying but thorough partnership
