  IF THIS LOVE - Two lovers face a shaky bond, struggle to let go, and seek honesty amid the vague patterns that keep them tied.

Inspiration

The project If This Loved was inspired by the delicate and uncertain moments that exist in many modern relationships—when two people feel connected, yet their bond hangs in the air without clarity. This emotional ambiguity motivated me to visualize a story about longing, hesitation, and the search for honesty. I wanted to capture the quiet tension between holding on and letting go.

What it does

The project creates a visual narrative music video that expresses the emotional state of two individuals trying to understand a love built on fragile habits. Using AI storyboard Creator for generating storyboard images, Kling 2.5 Turbo and Hailuo 2.3 to advanced video synthesis, Capcut Apo to Blend and Combine it, to transforms the concept into scenes that reflect uncertainty, vulnerability, and unspoken truth.

How we built it

I used AI Storyboard Creator from Gemini Canvas (Based On Nano Banana Model) to generate conceptual storyboard images based on the emotional beats of the story. For video production, I'm using Kling AI 2.5 Turbo, Wan 2.5 and Hailuo 2.3 to generate videos scenes and Capcut App to blend video scenes and transitions From Kling Ai 2.5 Turbo, Wan 2.5 And Hailuo 2.3, and maintain thematic consistency. Scene sequencing, timing, and emotional pacing were refined manually to ensure harmony between visuals and music.

Challenges we ran into

○ Achieving consistent character appearance across different AI-generated frames. ○ Balancing artistic emotion with technical constraints of AI video tools. ○ Matching the rhythm of the music with scene timing. ○ Ensuring that subtle facial expressions were preserved during video generation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

○ Created a cohesive emotional storyline using multiple AI tools. ○ Successfully maintained character consistency through prompt engineering. ○ Rendered scenes that closely match the intended mood—soft, uncertain, and introspective. ○ Blended and Combine video outputs from Kling AI 2.5 Turbo, Wan 2.5 and Hailuo 2.3 smoothly.

What we learned

○ Effective storyboard generation requires highly detailed emotional prompts. ○ Different AI video models have strengths: Kling Ai 2.5 Turbo excels in fluid motion, while Hailuo 2.3 handles atmospheric cinematic detail. ○ The creative process improves when combining structured planning with AI-driven spontaneity.

What's next for If This Loved

Next steps include refining facial animations, adding more dynamic transitions, and experimenting with Another depth effects. I also plan to incorporate live-action elements blended with AI visuals and explore multilingual lyric versions to reach a wider audience.
