Inspiration
Me and my partner enjoy redesigning websites and helping organize data. We saw this challenge and knew it would push us to learn new languages and technologies that we have not used before.
What it does
Our website helps the people at WESPARK collect and organize projects, users, and requested projects that users would like to post.
How we built it
We built this using HTML, CSS, JS, SQL. We made the design of the site appealing to the eye so that it's easy to navigate using CSS, JS and HTML. We did try to use SQL, we created the database and everything but unfortunately did not know how to implement it with our code.
Challenges we ran into
We, unfortunately, could not figure out how to use SQL with the website we created. We made the database and tables but couldn't implement it. We will definitely practice with SQL more in the future
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the way we created the website. It's appealing to the eye and easy to navigate.
What we learned
We learned how to use CSS and JS together to make an appealing website.
What's next for WESPARK PROJECT BOARD
The next step is to finish the admin portal which is the only thing that has access to project requests. After that we would finish the Project Posting request form and finally figure out how to use SQL and the data base we created.
