Inspiration
People who are immune to COVID-19 will play an important role in pandemic recovery. They will be able to resume working in critical roles, and can donate blood to help treat the critically ill or help develop better diagnostic tests. We need a special volunteer force who can be called upon when needed and a mechanism to match those that are immune to COVID_19 and the above high impact volunteer opportunities.
What it does
TL, DR; Identify the Immune matches COVID_19 positive people to high impact volunteer opportunities.
The volunteers fill out a form and upload a copy of their lab result. Institutions doing research on convalescent plasma or immunity can request volunteers and we will send out an email blast to those who qualify regarding the opportunity and they can choose to participate. Privacy is important - we don't give people's information out - the need to opt in to each individual opportunity.
As research evolves - more volunteers needed
As we understand who's immune, we will need healthcare volunteers to help in critical jobs like food supply or patient triage. Having immune volunteers to call on will be really important.
