Inspiration

The inspiration behind IdenDIDy stems from the growing need for individuals to have greater control over their digital identities in a decentralized web environment. Recognizing the significance of Decentralized Identifiers (DID), we aimed to create a user-friendly and secure platform that empowers users to manage their DIDs seamlessly.

What it does

IdenDIDy is a decentralized identity manager that allows users to create, manage, and control their Decentralized Identifiers. Users can easily perform actions like creating new DIDs, deleting outdated ones, and copying their identifiers. The platform prioritizes security, privacy, and user control, providing a comprehensive solution for decentralized identity management.

How we built it

We built IdenDIDy using Web5.js, harnessing the power of decentralized technology. The frontend was crafted with NextJS. ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Challenges we ran into

While developing IdenDIDy, we faced several challenges. Ensuring the security of user data and implementing robust encryption posed initial hurdles. Additionally, integrating with Web5.js required careful consideration. Overcoming these challenges demanded collaborative problem-solving and a deep dive into the intricacies of decentralized identity management.

What's next for IdenDIDy

The journey doesn't end here. For IdenDIDy's future, we plan to create Chrome Extension like MetaMask. Continuous improvement, community engagement, and staying abreast of evolving decentralized identity standards are on our roadmap. We envision IdenDIDy evolving into a go-to solution for individuals navigating the decentralized web landscape.
