Inspiration

Inspired from Edward De Bono’s random word pairing technique, I wanted to create a random word pairing generator, to help designers spark new ideas.

What it does

With user’s input of a topic and target audience / persona, the app will generate a pair of random words & image inspired by the words.

How we built it

Using PartyRock’s built in widgets, I have created a chain of prompts.

Challenges we ran into

Through this experiment, I have encountered some errors when I had multiple prompts running simultaneously (for eg. Having 4 pairs of random words and images - it may display duplicate responses while using the same LLM models and images will often load with error messages). I have overcame it by reducing to one pair of random words and derived a solution where there will be two parts to the app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

With a formulated idea in mind, it took me about 30mins to an hour to build an app in PartyRock.

What we learned

It’s amazing how we could create a chain of prompts using PartyRock. It would not be possible if it was just having a standalone interaction with an AI chatbot.

What's next for Random concept generator

I have a few exciting ideas lining up and can’t wait to try them out.
