🚀 Inspiration

Everyone has great ideas. After 20 years helping people build theirs, I’ve seen where things go wrong. I’ve always believed better idea workshops could save founders time, money, and stress. Bolt made it easy to bring this vision to life.

💡 What it does

Ideanation allows you to describe your idea and it works with you to create the details need.

• You can enter information your self,
• Get AI Suggestions
• Information is automatically organized
• View information as a knoweldge graph
• Use tools to generate artifacts (Pitch Decks, Bolt prompts, Business Model Canvas etc)

The goal is to guide entrepreneurs towards taking this idea as far as it can go

🛠️ How I built it

I used Bolt to create a NuxtJS app. I started with the "canvas" as I wanted to see what the knowledge graph experience would look like. I added AI by leveraging NuxtJS serverside components and used langgraph.js.

⚠️ Challenges we ran into

• The code that was generated was usually very close but would have small issues (not importing a component). I was able to catch those things but it did take time
• It was a challenge to reign myself in. Because it's so easy to add new features I had to look at my own Ideanation workspace to stay on track

✅ Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm very happy to have been able to build out something that has been in my minds eye for some time. I spent 5 days on it (30h over all) and I was able to not only put the idea through the paces but the technology as well.

📚 What I learned

This was my first time using Bolt.new and it was a great experience. The instant gratification of seeing things work really helps spur you on to see more things done. I am also interested in some of the partner tools.

What's next for Ideanation

I got it far enough along in such a short space of time that I am going to pursue this one further. I want to add more tools and business frameworks. I'd love to see this tool help more entrepreneurs build their ideas and I'd want to help more people get the most out of these kind of tools. I had become a bit jaded with tech services but I think tools like Bolt can really help with some of the challenges and I am excited to continue helping entrepreneurs build their dreams
