Inspiration

I was overwhelmed by a failed project and needed to reset fast. I wanted to create something simple yet delightful—an app that could make people smile or spark new thoughts in a second. That’s how Idea Spark was born: a one-click generator of AI-powered inspiration, from startup ideas to poetry.

What it does

Idea Spark helps users instantly generate ideas for quotes, poems, business startups, or creative projects using a sleek, minimal interface. No signup. No waiting. Just select a category and get inspired.

How I built it

  • Built using Bolt.new
  • AI powered by Groq using the blazing-fast LLaMA 3 model
  • Styled using ShadCN + TailwindCSS for a sleek, responsive UI
  • All components and prompts custom-tuned to return shareable, short-form content
  • Fully deployed and live via Netlify, publicly available

Challenges I ran into

  • Previous project failure due to broken APIs and heavy setup
  • ElevenLabs and Resend APIs failed or were blocked (free tier limitations)
  • Bolt sometimes struggled with style consistency or dynamic content
  • Ensuring everything worked with just one key (Groq) and no backend setup

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

  • Fully functional project built and deployed in one day
  • Created an app that works with no user friction
  • Overcame earlier burnout to ship something fun and demo-worthy
  • Polished UI despite time crunch and tool limitations
