Idara

Inspiration

Many students find it difficult to keep track of their current grades and see what they need to earn on future assignments in order to get their desired final grades. Final grade calculators online don't store store information. Professors used multiple platforms for grade records.

What it does

Idara combines excel sheets, calendars, and grade records into one cohesive website that will make personal gradebooks easy to create and use.

How we built it

We created html files to display the front end of our website. Then, we used c++ to read our html files and implement back-end code with the front-end.

Challenges we ran into

Finding and learning how to use the right methods of intertwining html with c++ was one of the main barriers.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made a user-friendly interface and the c++ files that were ready to be implemented with the html code.

What we learned

We learned how to use time class to implement our own calendar interface. We also learned that additional servers are needed to combine the html with the c++ code.

What's next for Idara

We plan to actually import our website onto Google Cloud since it has the desirable feature of combining our html with our c++ code.
