Helicon put up a challenge to do a hack with computer vision and ID scanning.
How it works
Put a valid ID close to your webcam and in a matter of seconds the application will extract your information and photo.
Challenges I ran into
Decoding base64 data:url-enconded images, training the orb descriptors and extracting the correct data.
