BLISS:

An app developed to alleviate the user's stress and foster a sense of happiness and relaxation.

Two Versions of the App were created using different platforms:

AppInventor The ultimate goal of the product, Bliss, is to increase one’s happiness and decrease stress in youth and young adults primarily. By clicking the ‘START’ button on the main page, users are taken to a page with 6 buttons. Each button contains a picture, video or an activity specially designed to make the user laugh or smile. This includes cute animal pictures, a countdown to a special event and heartwarming videos. In keeping the user interest high, all pictures are randomized, so each time the user clicks that button, a different picture should appear. As well, each video category includes eight different videos for the user to choose from. In terms of the event countdown, users can select a specific date and add a picture themselves for customization. Should the user want to try out many different buttons, there is a ‘BACK’ button on each page, as well as a ‘HELP’ page for instructions.

Android Studio App The app includes a nice countdown to summer (because who doesn't love summer), a 10-second timer for a certain relaxing activity (smiling, taking deep breaths), and many screens to help the user feel truly at peace and blissfully content.
