Inspiration

The inspiration comes from rarity.tools, a very popular rarity tool developed on Ethereum

What it does

ICON Nft Rarity is the tool to find out how rare an ICON NFT is.

• Listing ranking collections from Craft Network.
• Filtering NFTs by traits
• Sorting NFTs by Rank and ID
• NFTs data analysis: create collection data by crawling NFT metadata, analyze NFTs rarity score (Rarity Score is based on the article)

How we built it

• Collection data analyzed from Craft Network, a NFT marketplace for ICON blockchain.
• Using ICON protocol sdk icon-sdk-js to crawl the NFT metadata by calling method tokenURI of collection contract
• Based on rarity score algorithm, I transformed raw metadata to valuable data with rarity score.
• Building a server API and a client single-page app to serve data.

Built a web tool with almost functions as rarity tools running other blockchains

What's next for ICON NFT Rarity

• The rarity score should be improved further criteria to evaluate more accurate
• Improve images loading performance
• Collect more collections from other marketplaces, not just Craft Network
