iceBrowser

What is iceBrowser?

IceBrowser is a mentanet browser specifically built for smartphone devices (currently android) to run metanet protcol along with other (2+n)th layer protocols. It's also capable of running standard web(http+ftp etc)protocols

The problem

As the bsv blockchain space is growing each day, new 2+n th layer protocols have been build and tested rapidly. In order for these features accessible to the masses (be it average user or gov entities) a frictionless gateway interface is needed and that's where the metanet icebrowser comes in.

The solution and the goal

As a solution to the existing interface issue, My proposal is a browser that is accessible to largerer masses, smooth Ux that abstract away all the complexity of the protocol layers.

State of the Application

Currently, it's in pre-beta. Aside from the usual http protocol, the B protocol has been implemented. In the current state, the user doesn't have to rely on intermediary services like bico.media in order to reference and fetch blockchain data. The user can enter the address of the resources like standard Url notation (B://resourceId) and the Icebrowser will fetch the data directly from the blockchain. I'm aiming at adding a new protocol interface every 3-7 days so it's safe to assume it's gonna be fully-featured by the end of q4 2020.
