Inspiration

AMA sessions and interactive engagement events often suffer from low user participation, unfair reward distribution, and system abuse. Many attendees join just for the rewards, while real contributors go unnoticed. We wanted to create a fun, AI-powered game that makes participation more fair, engaging, and interactive, ensuring that attentiveness is rewarded.

What it does

iCanGuess.ai is a gamified AI platform that transforms engagement in AMA sessions, lectures, and events. Participants play a HOT-or-COLD guessing game to unlock hidden words. If they successfully guess all words, they unlock a seed phrase and win the prize. This ensures that only attentive and active participants are rewarded, creating an exciting and fair experience.

How we built it

We combined AI, blockchain, and gamification mechanics to create iCanGuess.ai:

• AI (OpenAI): Provides dynamic hints for the guessing game.

• Blockchain (Aurora): Ensures transparency and decentralization.

• Frontend (Vite, TypeScript, Viem, Wagmi): Delivers a smooth, interactive UI.

• Backend (NestJS, Ponder, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Hardhat, Solidity): Manages game logic and interactions.

Challenges we ran into

• Ensuring fairness: Designing a system that prevents spam and abuse (e.g., botting or multiple accounts).

• Optimizing AI hints: Balancing the difficulty of the game to keep it fun and challenging.

• Seamless blockchain integration: Keeping transactions cost-effective and ensuring a smooth UX for both on-chain and off-chain interactions.

• Successfully built a fully functional prototype within the hackathon timeframe.
