IC-MerkleAirdrop leverages Merkle trees for efficient and secure airdrop distribution on the ICP blockchain. It allows projects to distribute tokens to a large number of recipients with minimal gas costs.We were inspired by the potential of ICP to create fully decentralized applications that solve real-world problems. Each project addresses a specific use case, from media sharing to marketplaces, where decentralization, privacy, and security are paramount.One of the biggest challenges was optimizing gas costs for on-chain operations, especially for projects like IC-MerkleAirdrop and IC-Market. We also encountered difficulties in ensuring the seamless integration of decentralized identity management and privacy features across all projects.
