Inspiration
AI Demo Studio is an independent portfolio prototype exploring how a technical demo can connect the demonstration itself with discovery questions, follow-up material, and engagement reporting.
What it does
The interface brings together a demo catalog, guided conversation flows, follow-up generation, and an analytics view. The catalog contains document Q&A, text classification, and data summarization workflows. Local seed data provides sample documents, sessions, interactions, and analytics events for development.
How it is built
The app uses Next.js, React, TypeScript, IBM Carbon UI components, Prisma, SQLite, Recharts, and an OpenAI integration. The interface is organized around reusable demo workflows and session data.
My contributions
My documented maintenance work includes resolving localStorage hydration behavior, addressing Prisma behavior on a read-only Vercel filesystem with an in-memory fallback, and converting tab behavior to explicit React state. These are practical improvements at the boundary between browser state, server rendering, and deployment constraints.
Challenges and learning
A demo interface needs predictable state even when its storage environment changes. This project gave me work with client/server rendering, database fallbacks, and state-driven navigation, alongside the broader AI-workflow prototype.
Gallery and status
The gallery shows the actual local homepage and demo catalog, running from the public repository with its own sample database. No paid model requests were used to create these captures. The former Vercel deployment returned a deployment-not-found response on October 7, 2026, so the source is the current public reference.
This is an independent portfolio project by Rami Abdelrazzaq. Use of IBM Carbon and IBM-themed interface text does not indicate IBM employment, sponsorship, or an official IBM product.
Next steps
Restore a stable public preview, replace prototype branding with a distinct identity, and validate the complete demo and follow-up flows.
