Inspiration
We're all fan of Indie music and Artist and unfortunately regardless of how good they are, most of them are underrated and overlooked by organizers, and talent managers. Aside from that it is quite hard to get hold of those talents especially most of them rely on friend's invites or part time gigs. With the theme, "Technopreneurship for Gender Equality", we come up of this website wherein everyone, would be given a chance to share their talents and skills.
What it does
Indie-Go serves as a online lounge for the Indie Artists and the Organizers, Talent Scout/Manager and create a more stable form of communication for both parties. The Artist's profile The website is also open for the public who wishes to browse artists and find become their fan which would help the artist to be known.
How we built it
The website was made from scratch using html, Js, text editor, and pure passion for what we wanted to do.
Challenges we ran into
The name of the website that is so common and how we would be able to monetize it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
That regardless of the limited time, we are still able to create what we visualize for our website.
What we learned
The the 2day event, was a great experience and we are able to brainstorm alot of ideas that we don't really knew we are capable of doing until we narrowed down to one. It's fun, It made us think outside the box in answering questions that we too throw to ourselves for the development of the project
What's next for Indie-Go
The website would be renamed as ** iArtist Consort ** to avoid confusion with the other website and to publish it online.
