Inspiration

As the IT Guy were facing issues with guests wifi vouchers made via omada controller for TPlinks Access points and Unifi controller for unifi Aps on destop when power goes off. so decided to build a multipurpose trial system as ther iamtek Smart Hotspot Management System to manage single vouchers for all router management.IT manages customers, tracking revenue, and monitoring multiple routers becomes inefficient and error-prone. wanted to build a system that centralizes and automates these operations into one simple platform.

What it does

iamtek Smart Hotspot Management System is a SaaS platform that helps hotspot operators and ISPs manage their entire business from one dashboard. It allows users to:

  • Create and manage internet vouchers
  • Manage customers and user sessions
  • Monitor MikroTik routers in real time
  • Track revenue and sales performance
  • Manage multiple hotspot locations
  • View analytics and business insights ## How we built it The system was built as a full-stack web application using:

Laravel (PHP) for backend logic and APIs Blade templates + Tailwind CSS for frontend UI MySQL for database management MikroTik RouterOS API for network integration Role-based authentication for admin and clients

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was integrating MikroTik router APIs reliably while maintaining secure communication between the system and network devices. changing router IPs to communicate, and hosting as of now it runs on local php artisan and vite.
