Inspiration
What inspired me was that, for years, I taught business simulation courses at various universities and noticed that students had to study extensive documentation and perform business calculations—such as production and costs—using elements that didn't really motivate them
What it does
So, I decided to conduct an experiment: inviting students from Latin America to explore the potential of this powerful new tool—AI—to see to what extent it can help strategically steer a company in a competitive environment.
How we built it
We built it using dynamic web pages with PHP and phpMyAdmin databases. The simulator itself is built using visual scripting and is designed to run offline.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we encountered involved modeling consumer behavior and determining how consumers prioritize the offer conditions established by companies through their products.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The achievements we are most proud of are the very positive reception we have received, primarily from students and the academic community. We believe we have built an excellent tool for entrepreneurship education.
What we learned
We learned to connect online with students from different regions of Latin America, with different concerns and problems but with an interest in learning the science of Management
What's next for IA 2026
We plan to go further and enable AI to actually advise on strategic decision-making for companies in competitive markets.
