I Subscribed to a Cat

Inspiration

“Subscribed to a Cat” was inspired by the way modern relationships mix with digital habits — how sometimes a viral cat can give more joy than a real person. I wanted to create a fun, emotional, Gen-Z-friendly story that feels like a real pop music release, and show how AI lets one creator build something traditionally requiring an entire production studio.

What it does

The project delivers a fully AI-produced 3D music video with original song, character design, narrative, and animation. It blends humor, music, and storytelling into a cohesive, visually consistent video that looks and feels like a commercial pop clip. It demonstrates how AI tools can handle songwriting, art direction, scene generation, and final assembly in a unified creative pipeline.

How we built it

The concept, story, lyrics, and visual direction were developed using AI ideation tools. The soundtrack and vocals were generated with AI music models. All scenes were created as 3D animated video clips guided by detailed, consistent prompts. Editing, pacing, color consistency, and transitions were refined in a video editor to create a polished final clip.
