What it is
I Missed That is a judgment-free iPhone learning app for the everyday knowledge people missed, forgot, or were never taught—without grades, embarrassment, or a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
The problem
People regularly need small pieces of foundational knowledge—how to read 18:00, which way is east, how liters relate to gallons, or what a percentage means—but asking can feel embarrassing. Search can answer a single question, but it does not reveal what someone needs, give them a memory anchor, or help that knowledge stick.
The solution
I Missed That begins with a learner-selected focus and a short opt-out diagnostic. Each lesson follows a practical five-step path: see the idea in real life, keep a useful rule, use it once, spot a believable mistake, then recall it before practice. A learner can always choose “I don't know—teach me.”
The app separates a lucky answer from actual knowledge. After a correct answer, learners can honestly mark “I guessed”; that routes them back to teaching without false mastery. Two confirmed recall proofs are needed before a skill is marked as learned, and uncertain or missed skills return in an adaptive local review queue.

Verification
The current build passed 22/22 XCTest tests on an iPhone 17 Pro simulator running iOS 26.5, covering learning progression, honest-recall rules, review scheduling, daily quests, curriculum consistency, diagnostic behavior, opt-in iCloud backup, private idea storage, and StoreKit entitlement recognition.
Current boundaries
This is a native iPhone app. It has no login, tracking SDK, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, remote community feed, or public TestFlight build in this submission. StoreKit monthly and yearly Pro flows are implemented, while App Store Connect products and sandbox purchase verification remain future release work.
