I'm Just a Girl!!

(I'm Just a Chill Girl)

Inspiration

I came into this totally blind because I saw that it was friendly to beginners and I wanted to try learning something new (even if my project is totally basic). I suppose this could qualify as a little to no code competitor or as one of the beginner/girl categories. I'm happy to just exist here, though (please don't award me worst project even if it is).

What it does

...Exists

How we built it/Challenges We Ran Into

I built this with much effort to overcome my fear of embarrassing myself and perfectionism; it was hard to convince myself to submit a project that I know is not competitive, but everyone's gotta start somewhere!

Accomplishments that we're proud of/What We Learned

I am a girl and this is the first Hackathon I'm participating in, and I completely learned HTML & CSS & Git & Github in a matter of days with the limited time I had to allot to this!! I know it's not much, but it's a big step for my coding/hackathon journey. I'm glad that there was this space for total newbies to try their hand at something new.

What's next for I'm Just a Girl!!

Taking the first step is always the hardest part for me, so I'm hoping that this enables me to continue learning and growing to make better and more robust projects in the future. ^-^
