HYPPE-Plus

Inspiration

We have been working on a predictive analytics platform leveraging gamification to help patients manage chronic conditions especially relating to cardiovascular and metabolic disorders. Our initial product focuses on hypertension (HYPPE) and we have taken our features and knowledge from the development of that platform to apply it to the management of heart failure for which there is a strong overlap in patient population and treatment requirements.

What it does

Heart Failure affects more than 6.5 million people in the US as of 2014. Need better monitoring, management and predictive indicators.

How we built it

The platform is developed leveraging the AWS cloud on the backend to manage the software backend and securely store patient data in accordance with HIPAA requirements. The front-end applications are implemented for the web using the ReactJS framework and on mobile we are currently focused on the iOS platform and plan to launch in Android in the future.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have put together a great team committed to this project and excited to bring to market a product platform that will help patients treat and heal severe health conditions. Our initial product HYPPE was presented to the AMA-Google Interoperability challenge for which we made it to the finals. We are excited to receive validation from such important organizations at this stage in our product development.
